(Portland, OR) MAY 18, 2021—Medical Teams International’s annual celebration, Field of Dreams, will be open to the public for the second time in its 20-year history. This inspiring online event will tell personal stories of hope and healing from refugees around the world. The program will include recognition of our partners and supporters, and dive deeper into the work of Medical Teams as told through personal stories.
Medical Teams, along with co-chairs Bill Hilf, Shelley Hilf and Walter Jones, welcome the public to join this entirely virtual, immersive experience. The event kicks off with a seven-day online auction, beginning May 30. The livestream event will be broadcast on Saturday, June 5, featuring special celebrity appearances from Jim Zorn, Cliff Avril, and Monique Ming Laven, a musical performance from Senegal, and a Q&A session with Medical Teams’ President & CEO, Martha Holley Newsome.
